San Diego Jews of Color: A New Space for Kinship, Creativity, and Resilience
A vibrant new community is taking root in San Diego County. Born out of a vital need for dedicated, intentional space for Jews of Color, San Diego Jews of Color (SDJoC) has launched to provide a sanctuary for conversation, connection, storytelling, laughter and joy.
SDJoC is a community dedicated to acknowledging, celebrating, and sharing our diverse experiences. Our mission is to build and support our individual and collective resilience, protect our peace, and cultivate an intentional and sacred community.
We gather monthly to share in kinship, conversation, creativity, and—of course—delicious food.
Who We Are
The SDJoC is open to anyone of color who identifies as Jewish (including African, Asian, Indigenous, Latino/Latina, Sephardi, and Mizrahi heritages).
A Note on Our Space: While we deeply appreciate allyship from the broader community, please know that this specific space is intentionally reserved exclusively for people of color to ensure a dedicated environment for shared experience and reflection.
Join Us for Our Next Gathering!
Come be a part of our next monthly circle to meet new faces, share stories, and help shape this growing community.
