The Stronger Together Weekend continued tonight with an evening of song and preaching, presentation and inspiration about Israel and its connection to Africa, Arabs from the Middle East and their actions in Africa and Israel (ast and present) and the African American community.

Playing the piano and singing (he is a musician, as well as educator and pastor) Dumisani Washington enlightened the crowd about the history of  the connection between Israel and Africa and the Black-Jewish alliance in the USA today.

Following a beautiful Havdalah service in teh sanctuary of Temple Emanu-El San Diego, everyone gathered in the Social Hall for a cozy lecture and dessert oneg. They were treated to a sometimes fiery preaching and fact-filled lecture.

Participants had many questions about topics such as DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) vs meritocracy, antisemitism, the Arab Slave Trade, the manipulation pf African Americans by those who call themselves “Palestinians, the invention of the concept of “Palestine” and Palestinians by the Russian KGB to  undermine the United States of America and Israel. and much more.

By the end, Senior Rabbi Devorah Marcus invited Dumisani Washington to return during High Holy Days. Everyone was in support.
